Was ist Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training
CRM training focuses on the effective use of all available resources by the crew to ensure safe and efficient flight operations, reduce errors, minimize stress, and enhance overall efficiency. It was developed in response to new insights from aircraft accidents, revealed through Flight Data Recorders (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVR). These findings showed that many accidents were not caused by technical failures, but by the crew's inability to respond appropriately to the situation.
CRM focuses less on technical flying skills and more on the management abilities required to conduct a flight safely and successfully within an organized air traffic system.
