Every great airline captain started small, and things didn\u2019t always go smoothly. The story, told through text and illustrations, begins with a brief look back at the history of aviation. It then outlines\u2014briefly, or rather \u201cin snapshots\u201d\u2014pilot selection and training. Included are hand-drawn illustrations by Karl-Friedrich Krohn, created during his work as a graphic artist for Deutsche Lufthansa.
